It's Easy Being Green

A hot spot to discuss living life while going green

My wife and I are Zonies, born and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona also known as the Most Western Town. In 2008 we uprooted ourselves from our home in Flagstaff, Arizona, packed a vintage Winnebago Motorhome with our possessions and trucked 1800 miles to my new job in Evansville, Indiana: The River City. We are now a family of three, learning to live our lives as sustainably as possible. Stay awhile to laugh and cry over our trials and tribulations and learn how easy we have found it to be green.

He spoke about conserving our precious resources and it began to get the country thinking. However, the Vietnam War was overshadowing the environmental movement at the time. Anti-Vietnam war demonstrations... (more...)

It’s that time of year again where high school students begin to fret over who they’re going to prom with and what they’re going to wear. I remember how stressful that one event was or at least how stressful we as high schoolers perceived it. My how things change!
