LA Farm Girl » Unfortunately, our city doesn't have any of those fantastic stores. They're all about 100+ miles away! We do have a local natural food store but it's very small and they don't have a floral department. My girlfriend actually loves plants so I'm looking at things like Hydrangeas and Irises that could keep coming back year after year with her green thumb.

Hi Nate!

Thanks for visiting my site. I don't know what I'd do if I didn't have a year-round farmers' market. But, since you don't have you thought about trying Whole Foods, Trader Joe's or Sprouts for flowers? Or, as you have posted on your blog, who says you have to buy roses or even flowers for Valentine's Day?!
