Nathan Ryder is a freelance writer, TV personality and blogger living with his wife and daughter in southwestern Indiana. Nathan is a former broadcast TV journalist who worked for stations in Arizona and Indiana. He has followed and interviewed Presidential and Vice Presidential candidates on the 2008 campaign trail, made several trips to report on Warren Jeffs and his polygamist sect living in Colorado City and gathered stories from the front-lines of devastating wildfires.
Prior to stepping in front of the camera, Nathan spent several years working in live TV production for networks like ESPN and FOXSportsNet. Nathan also spent a year interning with Teen People Magazine. He served as a regional correspondent and had several items make the final cut for printing in the magazine. He studied journalism at Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School.
Nathan and his wife are making it a priority to live a self-sustaining lifestyle. They hope to eventually move to a homestead or farm of several acres so they can grow and raise all their own food and dream of one day being able to live off the grid.
